I heard the Empire Carpet commercial playing from a TV in my next door neighbor's house while I was reading in my hammock. Talk about throwing me for a loop. I NEVER thought I'd hear this American B-commercial playing in the corner of my ear in the middle of Guyana. Talk about throwing me for a loop
So, then I dropped my book and spaced for about 30 minutes about these White's Metal Detector commercials that would play on repeat in Santa Barbara county on the local channels: "With a White's, all you need to do is turn on and go!"
Talk about throwing me for a loop. I've been singing Empire's jingle all week!
